The corporation was formed to responsibly develop an alternative vape device or e-cigarette that will deliver superior results for a safer and more enjoyable vaping experience. The new technology will eliminate most, and lessens more, of the objections that have been posed by the United States Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”), or others, concerning vaping.

The Standard Vape revolutionary device will eliminate exposure to chemical compounds such as formaldehyde, generated by heated vaping fluids. Another potential health hazard is the inhalation of heavy metals, such as Nickel, Chromium and Lead, produced by the high temperature of the heating element employed by all e-cigarettes. The Standard Vape technology eliminates the need for heating the vaping fluid and will eliminate the potential danger of fire present with lithium-ion batteries contained in the existing devices without lessening performance.

One model of the present invention creates the aerosol vapor by an energy storage means, not a lithium battery.

An electronic cigarette or e-cigarette is an electronic device that simulates cigarette smoking. Current technology works by heating a liquid to generate an aerosol, commonly called a “vapor.” The liquid in the e-cigarette, is usually made of a nicotine salt, propylene glycol, glycerin, water and flavors (where permitted).

The vapor is generated by a metal heating element in the vaping fluid. The low electrical resistance heating element generates temperatures in the hundreds of degrees Celsius, creating an aerosol vapor whose exact chemical composition varies and creates over a hundred different chemicals such as Formaldehyde, a known carcinogen.

The power to operate the heater usually comes from a Lithium Ion battery charged through a USB port. Another cause of concern is that the aerosol vapor can contain toxicants and traces of heavy metals from the heating element at levels that potentially can have long term harmful effects. The FDA has moved against the following:

Any flavored, cartridge-based ENDS (electronic nicotine delivery system) product (other than a tobacco- or menthol-flavored ENDS product);

All other ENDS products for which the manufacturer has failed to take (or is failing to take) adequate measures to prevent minors’ access; and

Any ENDS product that is targeted to minors or likely to promote use of ENDS by minors.

The Standard Vape invention overcomes the above two serious problems with e-cigarettes currently being marketed today, i.e. chemicals being created in the high temperature heating process and danger of fire or explosion of the Lithium Ion Battery.

The genesis of our entry into the vaping arena was a call and a visit to our laboratory at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in December 2018 from scientists from the vaping industry. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the inclusion of Nitric Oxide (NO) in Nicotine. A related party, NMB Therapeutics, Inc., has patent pending technology on Nitric Oxide. Nitric oxide is a gas which can, among other attributes, enlarge blood vessels. By combining Nicotine with Nitric Oxide it may be possible to use much less Nicotine and still have the same effect as higher concentrations of Nicotine. The utilization of Nitric Oxide might aid in getting the nicotine deeper into the lungs with the intent to reduce the amount of nicotine required to produce the same physical sensation during vaping, which may also reduce residual nicotine being left in the lungs.

Dr. Mel Ehrlich, Ph.D (Physics) Our founder, is the inventor of our novel vaping device to eliminate the need for heating vaping
fluid without batteries, while increasing device performance, and reducing exposure to heavy metals. In addition to founding Nano Vape Corporation, Dr. Ehrlich also founded NMB Therapeutics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Ehrlich has
over 65 Patents.

Dr. Mahantesh Navati, Ph.D. (Physics), is CEO of NMB Therapeutics, Inc. (NMB). Nano Vape Corporation has contracted with NMB to develop vaping fluids. Dr. Navati is directing the team effort to optimize the incorporation of Nitric Oxide (NO) into Nicotine. Nitric Oxide is expected to enhance the bioavailabilty of nicotine. Dr. Navati has worked at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine for twenty years developing nano nitric oxide delivery systems.

Dr. Girish Mavelli, Ph.D. (Biochemistry) is a team leader in developing a library of vaping fluids. Dr. Mavelli’s experience in Nitric Oxide applications as a research staff member for many years at the Albert Einstein College of medicine enhances our vaping fluid development.

Jyothishree T. Jayadeva M.S. (Engineering) is the laboratory director. Her responsibilities, among the day to day lab functioning, is to insure that our instruments remain calibrated and functioning. This is most important when measuring Nitric Oxide.
